Thanksgiving

We had so much fun at grandma and grandpas for Thanksgiving. Avery loved her squash and had fun playing with grandma and grandpas old baby toys. She got used to grandma in about 2 days and had fun playing with her.

We made it to Grandma and Grandpa's house this afternoon, and we have been teaching Grandma how to take videos on her camera and upload them to the blog. Happy Thanksgiving!

Prunes

We fed Avery prunes for the first time this week. I thought for sure after smelling them that no one in their right mind could ever like them. These pictures and video show otherwise...

Avery is just so dang cute. She is blowing bubbles all the time now and sitting up kind of by her self. She loves eating food and wearing her bulldog bib. I hope you like her bulldog face!

Carrots

Avery ate her first baby food yesterday. It was carrots. She did okay with them. She did spit them out all over my shirt though, so we have some things to work on. The carrots created a mess and for the rest of the day we could not get the orange tint off of her face. She is growing up so fast and I can't hardly believe she is six months now. Feeding Avery real food has made our life easier. Now Christopher can get in on the action.

Halloween!

Halloween was so much fun. Avery dressed up as a pumpkin. Joe came to visit us on his way through to Atlanta. It was good to catch up with him. He dressed up as a girl with his long hair! It is just too bad it is not a wig. Avery was in her costume all day and the best part of the day was I got to eat all the candy she got from trunk or treating.

Winter is here and Avery has a new wardrobe. It has been fun to have a baby in the winter. It changes a lot. We have blankets all over our house and we are going through socks like they are going out of style.

Avery loves the hats the Jen made her and all the winter clothes that grandma and grandpa Henderson bought for her.

COSMO the Cougar

Christopher, Avery and I went to the BYU UNLV football game today. Avery was pretty good and BYU even won. It was a lot of fun. Avery slept through the 3rd quarter and had fun playing with Christopher's sun glasses when she woke up. The highlight of the game was meeting Cosmo. Cosmo is just about the coolest part of BYU and everyone wants to meet him. He came up to our section during the game and I quickly grabbed the camera and ran toward him. Since Avery is so cute, he let us take a picture with him! I can't believe Avery got to meet Cosmo at the age of 5 months old and I had to wait till I was 21.

These bulldogs were SO cute! I tried to talk Stephen into buying one, but he wouldn't pay the $4,000 price tag! We had fun at the game- I hope BYU wins tonight, too! Hope everyone is doing well. We love you guys!
