Collin: 2 Weeks Old

It's hard to believe that Collin will be two weeks old tomorrow night. Time is flying by! Collin usually sleeps from 10 pm-7 am and only wakes to eat. He is awake much of the day. He has been a good baby so far and we have really been enjoying him! He gained 9 ounces in a week and was 6 pounds 5 ounces a couple of days ago. He sure loves to eat!

Made by Great Grandma

Grandma Seibert made matching beanies and booties for Avery and Sarah. Because they were only still enough for one picture, there will be more to come!

Wednesday, January 6, 2010

It's official!

Christopher was made three offers, two in Dallas with Towers Watson and Buck Consultants, and one in Atlanta with Mercer. Yesterday he accepted an offer to work with Mercer in Atlanta! He will start June 14th, and we are planning to move in May.

We are very excited, and he can't wait to graduate! 14 more weeks, 56 more days of class, and 134 more classes!

Sarah!

Sarah is growing so fast. She already does not fit into most of her newborn clothes. She weighed 9 pounds 6 ounces at her 2 week doctors appointment. She is a lot of fun to have around and so far a very good baby!!

Sarah has much more of her mom in her than her dad. She has large eyes, short eyelashes, a big mouth, loves to sleep, and is a great burper!!

Avery!!

Even with a new baby in the house, Avery is still the center of our family. She makes sure of that.

Avery has discovered her bows!! Now that the baby wears bows, Avery wants to have bows in her hair...and always more than the baby has.

Avery is a true girl. She is obessed with shoes! She will try for hours to put her own shoes on and loves to wear around dad and mom's shoes. It is very cute and she is actually pretty good at wearing and walking in shoes 3x her size.

Only sometimes can Christopher talk Avery into playing basketball with him. She is very good and most of time makes more baskets than her dad.

Avery is never getting a real dog, so she will have to settle for the next best thing...a doggie towel. She now actually likes to get out of the bath!!

Auntie Leah taught Avery how to make a fish face. It very cute to watch.

Avery saying Capisce...which is Italian for "Understand?"

This is the first Italian word that Avery has learned to say!! Christopher is very proud.

Christmas!

We spent Christmas Eve night with our aunt and uncle and their family. The highlight of the night was Avery's amazing performance as the Nativity angel. Christopher and I were Mary and Joseph and Sarah got to be baby Jesus. It was a lot of fun.

Christmas morning was a lot of fun. We got to sleep in till 8am!! We spent the next 3 hours opening presents and playing with all of Avery's new toys. Avery loves her new dolly and always insists on the dolly having her pacifier in her mouth.

Santa brought Sarah a bouncer seat. Everyday it is a contest for Avery to see if she can get in and enjoy the seat without her parents noticing.
